Technology-enhanced learning in developing countries: the impact on entrepreneurial education and innovation

This Special Issue (SI) aims at identifying the criticalities and opportunities related to the adoption of TEL in education sector in developing countries to detect the key challenges and drivers to enhance this process and to enable the development of entrepreneurial education and the subsequent abilities of entrepreneurs to seize opportunities for innovation.

By contributing to enrich the debate on economic and social growth and development in developing countries according to an interdisciplinary standpoint, this SI seeks to explore the influence of technology-enhanced learning (TEL) on the development of entrepreneurial education and innovation, by also adding to the broader debate on digital divide and youth entrepreneurship.

The goal is to identify the social and economic benefits of TEL by observing the main factors that can improve the education-innovation-entrepreneurship nexus in the digital age. In this way, the contributions included in the SI can identify future research directions and provide managers and policymakers with suggestions on the smart use of technologies for economic and social growth, well-being and social innovation.
